Ancash, Peru—The SDARM Metropolitan Field in Peru held a campmeeting in Huarmey, Ancash, from July 31-August 5, 2023. The event brought together members of the church community and interested participants. It was a time of reflection, learning, and strengthening our faith.
The theme of the campmeeting was "An Altar to Pray". Various activities and workshops about the sanctuary contributed to spiritual growth and communion among the attendees.
Moriah Heights, California—The Northern California Conference hosted its Spring Spiritual Conference from April 7-9. The theme was "Revelation of Hope". The various speakers expounded on the topic, and the activities offered opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship.
Buckley, United States—On June 17, 2023, Brother Jordan Chapman was ordained as a minister of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Church in Buckley, Washington.
It was a special Sabbath for the church in Buckley, with visitors from Australia (Brother Chapman's parents, Brother Paul and Sister Deborah Chapman) and California. The officiating ministers were the brethren Julian Utupanu, Boris Gurduiala, Paul Chapman, and David Zic.
Oleksandrivka, Ukraine—On July 11-12, 2023, a delegation session took place in the Ukrainian Union. Despite the midweek timing, the brethren took the opportunity to hold a special spiritual meeting. The session and conference were held against the breathtaking backdrop of the Carpathian Mountains in the village of Oleksandrivka.
Plymouth, USA—The PLC 2023 Accelerated Evangelism Program concluded in May of 2023. The graduation service was held on May 27 in the campus auditorium.
This year's commencement address was given by Brother John Baer (GC Medical Director) and impressed the graduates with the great responsibility to use the knowledge they gained to share the Gospel at every opportunity the Lord opens to them. He concluded the address by inviting all the graduates to prepare themselves for the great class reunion in the presence of the Lamb before the Sea of Glass.
