The third South American Union Humanitarian Mission was carried out in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Buenos Aires, Argentina—On May 22, 2022, the third South American Union Humanitarian Mission was carried out in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Union’s Welfare and Health Department organized this event, during which the attendees were able to consult with different professionals: nutritionists, doctors, nurses, and speech therapists. The following services were also available: clothing donation, haircuts, skincare, crafts, children’s activities, and a vegetarian cooking class. There were approximately sixty volunteers that dedicated their services to the mission.

A new meeting place has been established in La Serena, Chile. Brother Verdejo was ordained as Elder.
La Serena, Chile—May 20-22 was a special weekend for the brethren in La Serena, Chile, a city that lies five hours outside the Chilean capital, Santiago.
The work in La Serena has progressed steadily, and this year, a meeting place was officially inaugurated in that city.
The weekend was also marked by the happy occasion of Brother Juan Osvaldo Albiña Verdejo’s ordination as elder. He will be serving the church in La Serena.
Let us keep the work in that region in our prayers, as well as the church group there.

Puente Piedra, Peru—A worker's seminar was held for the ministers, ordained elders, and Bible workers of the SDARM Peruvian Union. The seminar was held in Puente Piedra, Lima, from April 25 to May 1, under the title "Ready to Serve".
Brother Rômulo Borges (GC Regional Secretary for South America) and Brother Davi P. Silva (GC Sabbath School Department Director) were present as the guest speakers.

For fifty years, the Mexican Union prepares a special, annual, campmeeting, where members gather together from around the country. This year's theme, "Prepared for Eternity".
Acaxochitlán, Mexico—Every year, the Mexican Union holds a campmeeting, and members gather from all over the country for the event. This April, the 50th National Campmeeting, entitled "Prepared for Eternity", took place in Acaxochitlán, Hidalgo.
The five days (April 13-17) were packed with activities—messages by Union leaders, local pastors, and GC President, Brother Eli Tenorio; the missionary school graduation ceremony; baptisms; children's dedication; and time in fellowship.
