Following the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, 2026, many families have lost loved ones, homes, and access to essential necessities. While we thank God that our brethren in Caracas were spared, congregations across the country are now responding to urgent humanitarian needs.

II South American Music Encounter

Almirante Tamandaré, Brazil—By God’s grace, the II South American Music Encounter, organized by the GC Music Department with the support of the South Brazilian Union and the Paraná Field, took place in Almirante Tamandaré, Brazil, from June 4-7.

In northeastern Brazil, the states of Maranhão and Piauí, together, are home to about 10.4 million inhabitants, spread over a territorial area of about 224,282 square miles (581,406 km2). The climate here ranges from equatorial to tropical to semi-arid, having diverse vegetation with native palms, mangroves, Amazon forest, cerrado, and caatinga.
