New Fields in North America

Carrollton, Georgia—On December 5-7, 2021 the Southeast US Field consisting of ten states and 49 delegates held their last delegation session in that capacity. The main item on the agenda was whether it is time to form a union comprised of the ten states that make up the field since 1988. After much deliberation and prayer for guidance, the delegates decided that it was premature to form a union at this time but are confident in our Savior that in two years’ time that will happen by God’s grace and that time lasts that long.

In the meantime, to expedite that process, the field was divided into three fields to allow for more development of the work on a more localized basis rather than the large territory. The Southern US Field comprising the states of Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. The brethren in Tennessee, together with North and South Carolina, make the other field. Since the field was originally registered in Nashville, Tennessee, they will keep the original field name until a union is formed, hence they are called the Southeast US Field (SEUSF). The northern part of the SEUSF are the states of Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky. They will decide on their name within the next few weeks.

Let us pray for the success of the work and that this division of labor will result in new souls brought into the kingdom, and that organizationally in two years we will be prepared to form a Union to coordinate the work in these ten southern states.
