The Southern California Conference (SCC) held their biennial reorganizational session on October 10, 2021.

Los Angeles, California—The Southern California Conference (SCC) held their biennial reorganizational session on October 10, 2021. Delegates representing the various churches in Southern California gathered at the West Los Angeles Church to examine the work done over the past two years and make plans for the further work of sharing present truth in this region. The delegates were assisted in their work by two representatives of the Western United States Union, Brother David Zic (WUSU President) and Brother Huldeni Souza (WUSU Treasurer).

The Southern California Conference includes the densely populated greater Los Angeles area, which is one of the most culturally diverse places on earth. There are large communities of persons with origins in Latin America, Asia, and Europe as well as significant immigrant communities from Africa and the Middle East. The brethren recognize that in sharing the gospel here they have the opportunity to impact communities around the world with the transformative power of the gospel. That is also why workers from the SCC have held programs locally that included workers from many other areas and also traveled to assist programs as far away as South Africa, all with the aim of sharing the gospel with as wide an audience as possible.

At the end of the session Pr. Boris Gurduiala, who was asked to continue as SCC President for the coming two-year term, asked all those present to recommit themselves to work in harmony in fulfilling the gospel commission. Now they ask for your prayers as well, that the plans they made at this session be blessed and all fulfilled for the honor and glory of God.
