A very special moment for our local SDARM Church in Nashville, Tennessee!

Sabbath, October 3, 2020, marked a very special moment for our local SDARM Church in Nashville, Tennessee! This was a happy and blessed day, and Heaven rejoiced with the church on earth at this wonderful occasion.

In the presence of the holy angels and of omnipresent God, our new Brother, Jonathan Bell, publicly declared his faith in the present truth and his decision to follow Christ as his Captain! Elder Septimiu D. (Timi) Muresan was grateful for the privilege of performing the profession of faith and baptism, and we welcomed Pastor Eduardo Moreno's visit for the event.

When someone declares faithfulness to Christ, it is a declaration of war against Satan and his agencies.

“Baptism is a most solemn renunciation of the world. Those who are baptized … declare publicly that they have forsaken the service of Satan and have become members of the royal family, children of the heavenly King.” Testimonies for the Church, vol. 6, p. 91.

Brother Jonathan became a soldier of Christ! “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places,” Ephesians 6:12.

We are all engaged in this battle! We are marching under the banner of Christ! “Let us arouse! The battle is waging. Truth and error are nearing their final conflict. Let us march under the bloodstained banner of Prince Emmanuel, and fight the good fight of faith, and win eternal honors; for the truth will triumph, and we may be more than conquerors through Him who has loved us.” Christian Service, p. 77.

Our earnest wish and prayer for our new brother in faith, and for each one of us, is that we will be constant and good soldiers of Christ! Not only to be a soldier, but to be a constant and good one! “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ,” 2 Timothy 2:3.

May God help all to: “Fight the good fight of faith,” 1 Timothy 6:12.
