The Canvassing work during 2020 has continued, adapting to a new normal.

Summer Canvassing
Young people eagerly participated in Summer Canvassing programs held throughout Brazil in early January 2020. Almost 200 young people in 7 fields participated in the important task of door-to-door evangelization. Many had their first experiences with God, which led them to reflect on the need for preparation for baptism.

“Canvassing campaigns are to be organized for the sale of our literature, that the world may be enlightened as to what is just before us.” CM, 84.

Canvassing Seminar
A Canvassing Seminar was held for Leaders, Speakers, and Canvassing Directors, on February 2-13. The seminar was held at Clínica Oásis Paranaense in Curitiba, Brazil. Representatives from across the country and some from Argentina and Bolivia were present. Training sessions in the subject of health and natural treatments were held, in addition to new working methods, specifically concerning lectures at companies and institutions.

“I have been instructed that the canvassing work is to be revived, and that it is to be carried forward with increasing success.” CM, 17.

Canvassing during a pandemic
We are glad to inform the brethren that the canvassing work continues despite the pandemic. After lockdown restrictions were lifted, and taking all precautions possible, the canvassers continue their work of offering hope to many who are looking for answers. The hearts of many have been touched, and they are longing to know more about health reform and our hope in Jesus.

“As long as probation continues, there will be opportunity for the canvasser to work.” CM, 11.

It is the Lord's plan to carry a message of salvation through canvassers, and He will continue to do so to the end. He has reserved a special blessing for all those who dedicate themselves to this work with determination.

We encourage our young people to have an experience with God by participating in this great work.
