As wildfires continue growing in Northern California, we ask you to keep the affected families and members in your prayers.

The Northern California Conference is asking for the continued prayers of everyone for the victims of the tragic fires taking place in the state. The wildfires raging through northern California have prompted the evacuation of many residents. At present all the Reformers who have had to evacuate from the fires in the northern part of the state have been accounted for. Some have no idea if their homes are still standing.

Eliminating the myths that surround a plant-based diet. It isn't difficult, is medically recommended, environment-friendly, and makes economic sense!

When it comes to nutrition, many studies in the 20th century have revolved around the health benefits of single nutrients and vitamins. However, recently we have concluded that these nutrients work synergistically. Consistently eating plant-based meals leads to decrease of ill-being and diseases. There are other reasons to adopt a plant-based diet. Health, economic, environmental, ethical, and religious are some of them.

The NCC Music camp occurred on the church property in Moriah Heights, California on July 5-16, 2017.

MORIAH HEIGHTS, UNITED STATES—In the summer of 2017, musicians from nine countries gathered at Moriah Heights, California, USA for a music camp from July 5-16, 2017. There were 68 registered musicians for the event for both choir and orchestra. There were also other musicians who practiced with the camp attendees who were invited to join the orchestra and choir for the final concert. At the time of the concert, there were 80 musicians in the orchestra and choir.

Below two brethren give us updates on the work in Malawi. First, Brother Kapukuta Mulenga Chilufya gives an account of how the work began in Malawi and how it progressed in the years following. Then, Brother Peter D. Lausevic gives an update on a recent trip to Malawi in June of 2017.
