A youth weekend and Sabbath School Seminar were held in Hungary.

Mogyoród, Hungary—We thank the Lord for the opportunity of organizing a blissful weekend in Mogyoród, Hungary, held on from October 25 to 27. During the span of these few days, we held a Youth Convention on the topic "The Promise of Jesus". The sermon was presented by Brother Radu Ionita, GC European Regional Secretary.

On Sunday, there was a Sabbath School Seminar. One-hundred and sixty-three people registered for the program from different countries, classifying it as an international event. We had guests from Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Austria, Germany, Denmark, and England. Related to the Sabbath Bible Studies, there were 6 lectures about the Sabbath School presented by Sisters Anna Kaknics and Emőke Szép and Brothers László Bodnár, Ferenc Nagy, Mátyás Gálig, and Máté Tóth. The event was led by Brother Adam Toth. The Seminar was held in the Hungarian language, and Sister Ildikó Lázár translated to English. The lectures extensively covered the parts of the Sabbath School in detail: its history, structure, aim and function, part of its theory and practice, and also some ideas for Sabbath School teachers and students.

Our hope and desire is that we can better understand the aim of the Sabbath School and that it fills a sublime role in the church as the title of the Seminar, "The Heart of the Church", insinuated it should.

May God be with all who had the chance to attend this weekend, and may everyone be blessed as to understand and apply the acquired knowledge, wherever they may live and go.

Christian greetings,

the Hungarian Sabbath School Department
