Because the adrenal glands have such a far-reaching impact on the body, adrenal fatigue can greatly impact life quality! Here are some ways to prevent adrenal fatigue, some symptoms of the issue, and tests to request in order to find out if you do suffer from adrenal fatigue.

The stressors of daily life affect our adrenal glands. Much like putting pressure on a gas pedal stimulates forward motion, our adrenal glands will secrete cortisol and induce forward motion of our body until it runs out of cortisol.

The Cherry Blossom Bible Conference was held on April 15-17, 2016 in Temple Hills, Maryland (greater Washington DC area).

Every year, the Temple Hills, Maryland church hosts a spiritual conference around the time of the blooming of the flowering ornamental cherry trees in the Washington, DC area (the capital of the United States.) Cuba
This spring, we were blessed to perform the first three baptisms by the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Church in the nation of Cuba.

As of earlier this year, the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Church had only one member in Cuba. Brother Ricardo had come to know the Reform Movement in Roanoke, VA where he was baptized thereafter. In the last year, the General Conference has intensified the work in Cuba, sending a Bible worker from Venezuela to attend the group. As the work progressed, it was decided that the Cuban church would be assisted by the brethren from the Dominican Republic, as they are closer and can visit more frequently.

Ecuador
On April 16, 2016, Ecuador suffered a massive 7.8 earthquake. As of the latest news received by the General Conference, none of our church members have perished or been seriously injured.

A huge 7.8 earthquake hit Ecuador on Saturday evening, April 16, when most of our church members were at church closing the Sabbath. Miraculously, none of the church structures were affected, but several felt the impact. Members exited the churches shaken but safe. Unfortunately, some members' homes did not endure the quake and many relatives of church members were even more seriously affetcted.

Photos and updates from the work in Northern Africa

Brother John Bosco, the Regional Secretary for the Northern Africa Region, has been traveling in Africa the past couple of months, visiting brethren from various countries in Northern Africa. Below are a few photos from three of his most recent trips.

Photos 1 and 2: The work in North Kivu, DR-Congo is growing rapidly. However, the region has been devasted by a recent civil war, and the people are in dire need of help. In the photos, the brethren stand behind a banner thanking brethren who have sent them assistance.
