Last February we shared an appeal that the brethren in Australia had sent out requesting help for the brethren in Fiji, which had been struck by Cyclone Winston. Today we praise God as we share an update on the appeal.

"In the February e-newsletter of the Good Tidings, we posted an appeal for Fiji. We asked for your prayers and also financial support for our brethren who suffered much after Cyclone Winston left the islands of Fiji extensively damaged. During that time, sadly, one brother was killed and his wife suffered great injuries, whilst many others were left homeless. Many villages were totally destroyed by the winds and floods.

A well-known proverb by Benjamin Franklin states “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”  He's right. The ways of prevention are cheaper and wiser.

Obtaining effective treatment for arthritis early is important for slowing its progression, reducing the risk of long-term disability, and lowering accompanying health risks. Current medical treatments often rely on drugs that have unpleasant side effects, such as gastrointestinal bleeding and heart disease. Fortunately, we can help prevent, slow down, and ease arthritic symptoms through our diet.
