On June 9, 2016, our Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement church gathered together for the first time in the Jamaican capital, Kingston.

Our church in Kingston, Jamaica is in its beginning stage, welcoming a group of visitors every week. On June 9, 2016, our Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement church gathered together for the first time in the Jamaican capital, Kingston. The congregation included a group of local visitors, Brother Segundo Guzman (the GC Central American Regional Secretary), Brother Rolly Dumaguit (the GC Second Vice President and GC Pacific Regional Secretary), and Brother Vernon Rankine (a Bible Worker from Jamaica, currently living in the USA).

During their visit, Brother Guzman and Brother Dumaguit presented health lectures, offered medical check-ups, as well as had the opportunity to dedicate the baby son of one of the visiting couples. Visitors are preparing for baptism, and the brethren are arranging a baptism for this fall, as well as for a Bible Worker to move to Jamaica to provide better assistance to our members there.

Praise the Lord for another country reached with His Gospel message. May He continue blessing the work being done in Kingston, that our church may continue being a shining light to the people of Jamaica.
