The Valley of Depression

Here we convene again in the valley of murkiness, guilt and shame

Bewildered, puzzled and dazed how you arrived here once again with only yourself to accuse and blame.

 

You question yourself, how and why? How did I let it transpire?

Why did I permit myself to come to the Valley of Depression once more?

The adversary declares that it’s no use to come to the Lord.

“You have gone way too far and overreached God’s limit of forbearance.

You are beyond His forgiveness, His mercy and His love.

Heaven’s Market is closed! His charity for you is no longer in store!”

 

As you continue to listen to his suggestions that you are lost, doomed, ruined and hopeless, misery, distrust, fear and disbelief give you a wintry caress.

 

Be still and hear my plea.... God speaks to my heart….

 

“My child, My arms isn’t too short to save.

My compassion, love and mercy are in endless supply.

Thou your countenance reveal embarrassment, dejection and disgrace.

Let My pierced Hands wipe the tears of sadness and anguish from your heart and off your face.

Reach out your hand, open your heart and accept My tenderness and Grace.

 

“Come back home! Return to Me! Revisit Your First Love

Allow Me to reside in you and give you the power, strength and courage to surrender all.

Let Heaven bring comfort, healing and peace from above.

 

“So, instead of desolation and loneliness in the valley of hopelessness that leads you to devastation and destruction,

In Me, you will have My Peace in the Valley!

My child, don’t be afraid, don’t be fearful, and don’t delay! come back to Me today!”
