Brother Wilhelm F. Volpp Resting in the Lord (1926 – 2014)
Pastor Wilhelm F. Volpp went peacefully to his rest at the age of 87, four days away from his 88th birthday, at his home in Germany, on December 16, 2014, around 10 a.m. CET. Due to age, his health condition was gradually slowing down in the last few weeks.
The program was hosted by the General Conference Health Department with Dr. Dragan Ivanov, the Director of the Health Department.
We also had in attendance Dr. Elias Souza from Brazil, Dr. Reiner Kremer, director of the Health Department of the Western Union, Dr. Ophelia German from Georgia, and 4 young physicians from Romania, in addition to nurses, dietitians, naturopaths and health educators from North America.
The Health Summit provided the tools for attendees to be better medical missionaries. We learned:

• Public Meetings: September 10 to 13, 2015

All Israel was summoned to take part in three annual worship assemblies at the sanctuary. The people were to leave their houses and properties under God’s special care so that they could fellowship at Jerusalem.
God also has special plans for His people today, and one of them is to gather together to worship Him.
One hundred seventy years have passed since the great disappointment happened, when more than 50,000 believers in the Advent message were expecting the second coming of Christ to purify the “sanctuary” (which they believed was the planet earth).
Many had abandoned their employment, their harvest, their business, believing that October 22nd would be their last day on earth. In preparation for that event, there was reconciliation, payment of debts, and gathering of the family and friends foreseeing Christ’s arrival to take them to the heavenly home.
