Cyabayaga, Rwanda—Approximately 300 young people attended the Cyabayaga Church’s Youth Convention in the North East Mission of the Rwanda Union Mission. The theme was “Evangelism in Action”, and the event took place from August 15-22. Throughout the weeklong event, the young people attended lectures on spiritual themes, church history, and our Fundamental Beliefs. These lectures were held by the local elders and ministers and provided spiritual food to the attendees.
In order to fulfill the event’s purpose, there were also practical classes and opportunities to serve. One of the main projects was the building of a house for a widow who attends the local church. She was very happy and thankful for the young people’s contribution. There were also training sessions on sewing, welding, and construction.
At the end of the event, each young person received a certificate of completion. May God continue blessing each young person that participated, that the seeds here planted may yield fruits for His kingdom.
