Brother Neville Brittain Passed Away

Pastor Neville S. Brittain went peacefully to rest in the Lord at the age of 85 in Sydney Australia at 4:00 a.m. EST on Friday, March 28, 2014.

A native of Australia, Bro. Brittain came to the SDA Reform Movement in his youth and from that time he served extensively in medical missionary work as a licensed naturopath. Dear brethren in the Lord Jesus Christ,

With great joy I greet you through the word of God from Psalm 66:16, 17, 19, 20. "Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul. I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. . . . But verily God hath heard me: he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me."

Big events make big opportunities for outreach!

On February 11-13, 2014 in Tulare, California, USA, the World Agricultural Expo was held. Our local church in Visalia is only 12 miles from Tulare, so it was a great chance for us to share literature and answer questions about our faith. Over 3,000 books were distributed, along with 700 planet earth “God So Loved the World” stress balls, 1,250 laminated Ten Commandments posters in English and another 625 of them in Spanish. A total of 26 visitors signed up for cooking classes and 5 were interested in Bible studies.
