Puslinch, Canada—The Youth Department of the East Canadian Field Conference held its annual youth weekend in Beamsville, near the Puslinch Church, during the Easter weekend of April 3-6. This four day retreat was under the theme “Beyond Boundaries” focusing on reaching our full Christian potential for God. A series of topics were presented by Brother Csongor Matyas, the guest speaker from Austria. His messages centered on who God is, our purpose as youth, and included workshops on practical ways to serve God and those around us.
The annual youth weekend is always a special time as the youth from the five churches in the ECFC are able to gather and enjoy time together. Friday and Sabbath we enjoyed the messages shared and a wonderful praise program on Sabbath afternoon. On Saturday night, the youth organized games and activities which brought lots of laughter and fun. Sunday, there was a planned activity and an outing to Niagara Falls to visit some of Canada’s touristic locations.
We are thankful to God that the weekend went smoothly, and we hope it was a blessing to all those who attended the meeting, but especially for the youth.
