Itú, Brazil—Between March 4-8, the “Arise and Shine” seminar was held in the city of Itú (SP). This educational seminar was held for Field and Union leaders from the Central, Southern, and Southeastern region. The seminar was inspired by the message of Isaiah 60:1, which declares: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”
During these days, participants had the opportunity to attend several lectures and training sessions, receiving important guidance for the development of missionary work and welfare assistance activities in different regions.
The training was led by Pastor André Devai (GC Welfare Department), who shared guidance, experiences, and fundamental principles for strengthening missionary and humanitarian activities. The presentations offered practical reflections on Christian service, leadership, and commitment to the mission.
In addition to the learning sessions, the seminar also served as a space dedicated to planning future missionary initiatives. During the meeting, new mission dates were organized, and this information will soon be officially announced.
One of the most memorable moments took place on Sabbath afternoon, when the leaders participated in an exchange of experiences. Each participant had the opportunity to share experiences, challenges, and testimonies from their fields. It was a very special moment of fellowship, mutual learning, and encouragement among those who dedicate their lives to service.
The “Arise and Shine” Welfare seminar reinforces the commitment to preparing leaders to serve with dedication, reminding participants that the Christian mission involves not only words but also concrete actions of love and care for others.
Inspired by the message of Isaiah 60:1, participants returned to their regions with renewed hearts and a desire to continue serving and bringing hope to many people.
