On July 14-20, 1925, the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Church was born when our first General Conference was held in Gotha, Germany.
From Europe, we spread to the Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania, and today we are present in over 127 countries.
The Reform Movement exits to impact the world, to show God’s love in a practical manner, and to draw the world’s attention to the restoration of divine principles.
Through the grace of God and the collaboration of its more than 42,000 members, we now have some 3,000 churches, 23 missionary schools, and numerous grade schools around the world, which prepare missionaries to preach at home and in the most remote corners of the planet in an effort to fulfill our mission.
Since 1925, we have also developed in the health sector, establishing clinics around the world for the purpose of alleviating the suffering of society, restoring it physically, morally, spiritually, and emotionally.
We organize humanitarian missions and philanthropic activities in various countries with a focus on health, social work, vocational training, as well as moral and spiritual instruction for children and adults.
Convinced that good nutrition is an important foundation for health, our members organize cooking demonstrations and health lectures in their communities, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and making it accessible.
From the beginning, our publications have been a significant part of the Reform Movement. Our publishing houses produce millions of publications annually, which are distributed by our members and canvassers. These publications include devotionals, hymnals, health books, and evangelistic materials.
Faced with the challenges of taking the Gospel to the cities, today we offer online Bible courses and theological studies, radio programs, online streams, and more.
We have made it 99 years working with faith and hope, and we can say with the prophet Samuel: “Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.”
