This morning began with small prayer groups seeking God’s guidance for the day ahead. During the morning devotion, Brother David Zic encouraged the delegates to reflect on the stories they may have heard as children. His meditation focused on contrasting the parables of Zacchaeus and the rich young ruler, emphasizing that it is God who transforms the heart.
After a wholesome breakfast, the session resumed. Brother Rolly addressed the delegates, reminding them that while we may serve as vessels, God is the true fountain of living water. Following this brief meditation, the nominating committee presented their recommendations for the position of General Conference Treasurer. Brother Wagner Guidini, a former treasurer of the Northern Brazilian Union, was elected to the role.
The Chairman then directed the process for nominating regional secretaries. After a few hours, all regions had completed their nominations. Later, the delegates reconvened in the hall to finalize and vote on the regional secretaries. The results are as follows:
Pacific: Benjamin Thiel
Eurasia: Petru Mangul
Europe: Sorin Suceava
Northern Africa: Jean Bosco Nsengiyumva
Southern Africa: Sifiso Mnkandla
South America: Carlos Linares
Central America: Nasareno Turushina
North America: Peter D. Lausevic
Next, Brother John Baer, the outgoing Medical Missionary Department Director, delivered a heartfelt reflection on the hope of Christ’s return. He challenged the delegates, asking whether they had truly relied on the all-sufficient Jesus or on their own strength. He concluded with the powerful declaration, “I want to see Jesus coming again!”
