Morning Worship

The next to last day of the session commenced with a season of prayer at 6:00 a.m., setting a reverent and uplifting tone for the day’s proceedings. At 6:30 a.m., Brother Nazareno Turushina, the newly elected Regional Secretary for Central America, presented an inspiring message on the topic “A Heavenly Partnership.” His presentation encouraged the delegates to reflect on the divine calling of their work and the importance of unity in fulfilling God’s mission.

Following the morning devotion, the Chairman of the session, Brother David Zic, led the delegation in reviewing and accepting a partial report from the Nominating Committee. The session saw the completion of several nominations and elections, further shaping the leadership of the General Conference for the coming term.

The session continued with a series of votes on various matters, culminating in the official close of the day’s proceedings at approximately 5:50 p.m. Despite the demanding schedule, the delegates remained engaged and committed, mindful of the great responsibility entrusted to them.

As the evening set in, Brother Nathan Tyler, the newly appointed Sabbath School Department Director, led the evening worship. His message, titled “Light for the Humble,” provided a thoughtful meditation on humility and divine guidance, reminding all present that true leadership is rooted in a spirit of service and surrender to God.

With just one day remaining in this momentous session, the delegates are preparing for the final discussions and decisions that will shape the future of the work for the next 5 years. As they press forward, may they continue to seek the Lord’s wisdom and strength, remembering that His hand is ever guiding those who labor in His vineyard.
