To the Directors and Leaders of the Family Departments in all Unions, Fields, and local churches,
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!
As the Committee of the Family Department plans its activities for 2026, we would like to invite every Unit to participate in a global initiative for a Family Conference in the third quarter of 2026.
We kindly request that you reserve the dates of September 13–20 for a special Family Conference that is currently in preparation. More details regarding the program, materials, and structure of the event will be shared in the new year.
At this time, we ask for your cooperation in two important ways:
- Please mark these dates on your unit calendar and begin planning accordingly.
- Ensure that the Unit Family Department Director completes the official survey/form linked below.
For units that do not yet have a Family Department, we kindly ask that a director or minister be appointed to oversee family-related responsibilities and serve as the point of contact for this initiative. To assist with this process, we will be attaching a practical guide outlining several model options for structuring a Family Department, allowing each unit to choose an approach that best fits its size and local needs.
Please note that all future communication regarding this Family Conference—including event details, resources, and materials—will be sent exclusively through the Family Department portal. For this reason, only those who are registered and have completed the survey (linked below) will receive further information, as the portal is our primary source of contact details.
