The gospel from God from the time of their youth?<\/em>
It\u2019s written in Scripture so clear for today;<\/em>
That message so vital for now\u2014present truth!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
In hearts there resounds a sweet answering chord;<\/em>
As souls long in darkness awaken in hope<\/em>
Discerning this message that\u2019s straight from the Lord!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
That now is the time when we need to repent.<\/em>
To put away sin and enticements to wrong,<\/em>
And trust in the Saviour so graciously sent.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
One for Whom all should be fervently yearning,<\/em>
His sacrifice radiates pow\u2019r through His blood:<\/em>
The Rock of the ages; no shadow of turning.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
So plainly all see that there\u2019s something amiss.<\/em>
How great is our longing by faith as we ponder<\/em>
Communion with Jesus and heavenly bliss!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Diseases and war with such sorrow and pain,<\/em>
Surrendered to Jesus, our hope must yet flourish\u2014<\/em>
Determined in action through God\u2019s latter rain.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
With power, it\u2019s fruitful in hearts where its stored.<\/em>
When all\u2019s said and done, and our Saviour will come\u2014<\/em>
For each He will bring a specific reward.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mocker and scoffer the message now spurns,<\/em>
But when they\u2019re not watching, probation will close,<\/em>
And Jesus, the King in His glory returns!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now is our chance to reach out to the field\u2014<\/em>
The harvest is white for the reaping of souls<\/em>
A work must be done by the few who be sealed.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
We rise above all the corruption and strife.<\/em>
By grace in His strength, to His vineyard we venture<\/em>
