Bulletin

On Monday, January 20, 2025, the 24th General Conference Session of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement began with morning worship led by Brother Eli Tenorio, the General Conference President. Brother Eli presented a message entitled “Source of All Light.” He emphasized the importance of our spiritual connection with Jesus Christ, the Source of all light. That is the only way to fulfill our God-given mission to light up the world, because to be light, we must first be exposed to the Sun of Righteousness.

At 8:47 a.m., after a breakfast with a variety of tropical fruits, the session started with a short message given by the outgoing General Conference President, Brother Eli Tenorio.

Following this, the seating of the delegates took place, and then the individual reports were accepted. These included the administrative reports of all the executive officers, the mission reports from the regions that represent the work around the world, and the department and committee reports.

The final reports were the financial statements, including comparisons with past years. Brother Rudolfo Gessner, the General Conference Treasurer, presented the Financial Report emphasizing that, by God’s grace and provision, the General Conference is financially stable, with resources effectively managed to support ongoing operations and strategic goals.

The Lord’s blessing could clearly be seen as resources were always there when there was a need, a new mission, and assistance was required. Through this report the delegates were able to see how the Lord blesses us when we recognize that every dollar is dedicated to His cause, His honor, and His glory. Various delegates expressed special thanks to Brother Gessner for his faithful work and dedication during the last three terms.

After lunch, the delegates elected a temporary Chairman, Brother David Zic and the temporary Assistant Chairman Brother Rolly Dumaguit.

The session adjourned for this first day of business. The evening worship was presented by Brother Rolly Dumaguit with a message about “Christ’s Blessings Universal.” As followers of Christ, it is time to not only receive God’s blessings, but to share them with others, so that they may also know the love of God.
