We invite everyone whose heart is full of gratitude and willingness to give, and give of themselves for the good of others and for the honor and glory of God, to take part in the Mozambique Mission 2026!
Mozambique is a Portuguese-speaking country in Africa that has faced many challenges in recent years, including severe drought and political instability. Despite ranking among the world’s poorest nations, its people are known for their joy, warmth, and hospitality. The country’s beautiful beaches and rich natural landscapes reveal a land full of contrasts and resilience.
In Mozambique, our church has around 300 members, along with several new groups eager for our visit. Our headquarters is located in Chimoio, one of the country’s main cities, yet a place still marked by poverty and scarce resources. Nearby communities also struggle with extreme need. While we cannot change the reality of an entire city, we know that together, by God’s power, we can transform many lives.
Our mission will combine health, community service, and spiritual outreach. Planned activities include:
Medical and dental care, nursing, nutrition counseling, family therapy, natural therapies, health education.
Bible studies, family counseling, and community engagement.
Painting and repairs at the church headquarters, and assistance to local families.
Children’s programs, music and recreation, sewing and small repairs, welding, electrical work, income-generation activities, home improvements.
Africa is home to tropical diseases, and getting sick is quite common—fever, vomiting, headaches, body aches, and even malaria are not desirable but highly possible. If you experience any of these discomforts while there, we will care for you with much affection within our means. However, each volunteer is responsible for their own health.
All volunteers must have a valid passport (the country does not accept passports without at least two blank pages, and with less than 6 months before expiration).
Mozambique also requires an international yellow fever vaccination certificate. A tourist visa is required (USD 150, paid individually). We will provide an invitation letter and guidance, but each volunteer is responsible for securing their own visa.
From Beira or Chimoio, we will provide transport, lodging, and meals for volunteers between January 7–18, 2025. Outside these dates, volunteers must arrange their own. We will not have mattresses or bedding available for participants; you must bring your own or purchase them locally.
We recommend taking vitamin C, brewer’s yeast, and garlic capsules to prepare your body for the trip. Begin at least 15 days before departure and continue throughout your stay.
Bring love in your heart, a spirit of service, and the assurance that this mission will be a life-changing experience.
Our mission will combine health, community service, and spiritual outreach. Planned activities include:
Dear brother/sister, we have prepared a simple form for you to sign up as a volunteer, sharing your information, availability, and the areas where you would like to help.
Please fill it out with care and send it back to us as soon as possible
Your participation can transform lives — including your own.
We count on you in this mission!
