Baptism in Australia

Good Tidings
April 15, 2015
They're coming to Jesus from the byways and hedges—this time from a rural part of Victoria, Australia

Members of the Shepparton church and friends gathered on the 10th of January in the quaint country town of Eldorado, Victoria. We spent a lovely Sabbath together which included the usual morning services, a combined lunch and the highlight of the day, the baptism of Jade Wales. Although there had been some rain, and it was still lightly raining, the creek level did not pose a problem; and Br. Jade made his stand for Jesus while everyone looked on from the shelter of umbrellas.

When we gathered back at the hall for the fellowshipment, we had a wonderful time of sharing as Jade gave his testimony and shared a special song that he had written. A few others expressed their desire to recommit their lives to the Lord, and after a season of prayer we all departed with songs in our hearts and thanksgiving that another child of God had come home.
