The East-Central U.S. Field Field Conference held in West Virginia this summer was a blessing.

From June 16-18, 2017 the East-Central US Field held their annual field conference at Bethany College in West Virginia. The theme of the conference this year was “I Am the True Vine”. This annual conference holds fond memories for many that have been coming to this location for nearly two decades. The event was also blessed to have several families visiting for the very first time. In total, we had an attendance of over 100 brothers and sisters.

Hippocrates once said: “All disease begins in the gut.” As more westernized countries are suffering from poor diet choices, chronic stress, toxic overload, and bacterial imbalance it appears that intestinal compromise is an important factor to blame. Many of us could be experiencing chronic internal intoxication from our gut, which can be just as detrimental as environmental toxic exposures.

Photos of our first baptism in Lagos, Nigeria.

Our first baptism in Lagos, Nigeria occurred on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Due to illness, only two of the five baptismal candidates were able to be baptized on that date. However, we pray by the grace of God that the others will have the opportunity to be baptized very soon.

May the Lord help us in this great commission He has entrusted to us. Let us keep our new brethren in our prayers as well as the work in Lagos that He may prosper it.
