The spiritual condition of the church is directly attached to the spiritual condition of the church families. So what is the current spiritual condition of our homes?

The last prophet of the Old Testament, Malachi, declares something very important concerning the essential reformation that must take place in the family of God’s people in these last days of world history:

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.  Malachi 4:5, 6.

A youth convention was held in the Central Province of Zambia from December 23-January 1.

With the Lord's help, the Zambian Youth Convention, which was held from December 23 to January 1, was a success. Over 250 youth were in attendance from across the country, as well as four brethren from Zimbabwe. Among them were the two mission leaders, Brother Message and Brother Clifford.

The theme for the youth convention was "Youths for Christ". The key verse was Psalms 8:2: "Out of the mouth of babes and infants hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger." The theme song was hymn #633, "Jesus Loves Me".

An appeal for anyone who has had or is struggling with thoughts of leaving the church.

The subject of leaving a church is quite complicated. I most often hear it brought up among our young people, followed by explanations of why they want to leave.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears," (2 Timothy 4:3).

The above verse is quite touching. It describes the painful reality of our times, which is often disguised under pretexts and excuses.

A message from Brother Davi P. Silva to the church family as we approach the new year.

Dear brethren around the world,

Warm Christian greetings with the following words from the Inspiration: “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me,” John 17: 20, 21.
