What are the steps we need to follow to enjoy the blessings of God’s Word? How can we implement them?

Studying, understanding, and practicing the principles of God’s Word are the essential pillars of a healthy Christian life. We are not talking about just reading the Bible but studying it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The second pillar is understanding the Bible. Since the Scriptures were written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit, we need to be under the control of the same Spirit to understand it. Besides this principle, we need to follow other steps to enjoy the blessings of God’s Word.

The spiritual condition of the church is directly attached to the spiritual condition of the church families. So what is the current spiritual condition of our homes?

The last prophet of the Old Testament, Malachi, declares something very important concerning the essential reformation that must take place in the family of God’s people in these last days of world history:

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.  Malachi 4:5, 6.
