By the grace of God, the 5th South American Health Symposium was held in the Kawai district, Lima, Peru, from February 25-28, 2019. Attendees and lecturers of different nationalities and specializing in different medical areas were present to share their knowledge and learn from each other.

Some of the topics presented were: Depression, Critical Nutrients for Vegetarians and Extreme Diets, Genetically Modified Foods, Metabolic Syndrome, Microbiota and Dysbiosis, The Therapeutic Power of Prayer, Communion with God and Work for Others. In addition to the lectures, there were other activities such as debates on current topics, talk panels, and an interdisciplinary spa where attendees had the opportunity to relax, as well as to learn more about natural therapy disciplines in a practical manner.

Blood samples were also taken to analyze the quality of the health of the participants. Over 180 people were present and shared their joy of being able to participate in the symposium. We are already anxiously awaiting the next symposium.
