This year's annual music project is going to be on "The Dangers of Charismatic Music". Join us!

July 31, 2018

To all Units of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement General Conference:

Christian greetings with James 5:13.

We trust that this letter will find you richly enjoying the blessings of the Lord. The purpose of this circular is to promote and request the support of all General Conference Units in behalf of the project The Dangers of Charismatic Music,” to be held on Sabbath, October 6, 2018, in the SDA Reform Movement churches around the world.

The General Conference Music Committee has developed a special program to promote and encourage the spiritual growth of our musicians:

  • Sabbath morning, a special theme for the Divine Worship hour.
  • Sabbath afternoon,  a special study.

These meetings are intended not only for musicians but for the entire Reform Movement community, including visitors and interested persons. This Sabbath should be a special occasion of fellowship with music and interaction among the believers.

During the months of August and September 2018, the materials needed will become available through the GC Music Committee at music.sdarm.org and www.sdarm.org:

  • Advertising poster;
  • Text messages;
  • A study guide: The Dangers of Charismatic Music,” both in magazine and PowerPoint formats. Units are encouraged to print the provided magazines and distribute them widely among the brethren. For the meetings, avoid just reading the text; the leader should study the subject in advance and present it in a dynamic, interesting way;
  • Short videos on the subject.

Any questions or clarifications needed will be provided through email at music@sdarm.org.

It is our sincere desire that the project “The Dangers of Charismatic Music” be a blessing for SDARM musicians and for our church in general.

In Christ,

Bro. Eli Tenorio                                                         Bro. Marcos Pedrazas
