HIDALGO, MEXICO—On May 14, 2017, an inauguration ceremony was held at our missionary school, Reform Bible Institute J. N. Andrews, in Progreso de Obregón, Hidalgo, Mexico. The class of 2017-2018 will be the seventh class to graduate from our missionary school in Mexico, and they will have the opportunity to be the first to study in the brand new building.

Before the conquest of Jericho, God gave specific instructions to His people regarding the battle and the spoils. Since the victory belonged to the Lord, the spoils should also be consecrated to Him: “All the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord” (Joshua 6:19). But Achan, of the tribe of Judah, had developed a greedy character, and when he stood before those treasures (gold, silver, and Babylonian garments), he was overcome with a strong temptation.
