Michoacan, Mexico—The 48th National Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement - Mexican Union, took place this year. It was held at Ex-Hacienda Tzintzimeo, located about 30 kilometers from Morelia, Michoacan. The conference began on April 17 and ended on April 21.
Lomé, Togo—The work in Togo began in 2015 when Brother Johnee came across the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement website. Since then, the work has progressed and the Togo Mission was formed. The first baptism was held last year in August 2018.
On April 14, 2019, the second baptism took place in that country. We praise the Lord for His continued grace and welcome our new brethren into the church family. Let us keep our brethren in Togo in our prayers.
March's First Sabbath Offerings went towards the GC Welfare Department's Disaster Relief Fund. This money is used to respond to natural disasters and the chaos in its wake. Not long after March's offering was taken up, Mozambique, Malawi, and Zimbabwe were hit with the worst tropical cyclone in recent history.
Kingston, Jamaica—A baptism was held in Kingston, Jamaica, on Sunday, March 24, 2019. The baptism was performed by Brother Segundo D.Guzman, GC Regional Secretary for the Central American Region.
