From January 25–28, the GC Doctrinal Committee will convene to discuss major doctrinal issues that have arisen in various units around the world.

This Monday, January 25, the GC Doctrinal Committee will convene in Roanoke, Virginia, in order to discuss major doctrinal issues that have arisen in various SDARM units around the world. The Committee includes Brn. Davi Paes Silva (Chairman), Peter Lausevic, Duraisamy Sureshkumar, Eli Tenorio, and Liviu Tudoroiu.

The Committee will spend the week discussing doctrinal points, such as: Celiac Disease and the Communion Bread, Divorce and Remarriage prior to Baptism, Women in the Pulpit, Eschatology, etc. The Committee will then form proposed resolutions that will be analyzed and finalized by the GC Doctrinal Council in 2018 in order to be presented to the 2019 General Conference Delegation Session.

We ask the brethren to pray for the meetings being held throughout this week, and may the Lord be with the Committee members as they discuss these issues. May He give them wisdom, and may the decisions that will be proposed be guided by His hand.
