Dear Youth, Musicians, and Brethren in the Lord!
May this invitation find each one of you enjoying health and the peace of our Lord.
If we realize that all goodness comes from the grace of God, and is not accidental, especially in these last times, then for sure we will proclaim together with David: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped:therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him.” Psalm 28:7.
The youth have been given a very noble project from the Lord - to present to others the beauty and the joy of a real Christian life. Sometimes it can be so difficult, because Satan tries to disappoint us, to discourage, or to disorder us. However, if we call on the Lord’s name for help, if we trust in Him, if we are looking to have a close relationship with Him, then we can have the same experience as David, and God will give us a solution to all difficulties, trials, and temptations. This grace of God makes our hearts joyful, happy, and peaceful, which will be seen from the outside as well, and will cause us to be thankful.
We live in a special time. Satan knows that his time is short, so he is acting with full power. His principal target is people of God – a people who uphold up the Word of God in spite of the difficulties and struggles they face, because for them this is the most precious and most important thing. The struggle is never easy nor without obstacles, but we have to look ahead with faith, and should not be disappointed nor discouraged. The Lord chooses us for an important mission.
Like Martin Luther, we have to make a reformation in our lives and in our surroundings. This year, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, when some mark the Reformation as ended, now is the time for there to be a group of people, and to be this people, who raise the blood-stained banner of the Truth, and show that the Reformation continues. We cannot compromise with darkness, giving up our principles, which were kept by Reformers, through difficulties.
As a result of these thoughts we formulated a plan to promote the progress of music, and organize an international music school in Hungary, where we can learn together about music - in theory and in practice. With the local youth here, we have many times experienced the blessings of the right kind of Christian music, by God’s grace. We were in difficulties several times, when on the border of our despair we remembered the Word of God, we remembered a song, we began to sing, and the power of temptation disappeared, and was replaced by joy and gratitude.
We are glad to invite all young people who love music to Hungary, to the International Summer Music School that will be held in Mogyoród, from July 17-24, 2017. The theme will be “Reformation in Music.”
A very enthusiastic young team of musicians and singers are looking forward to expressing their gratitude and thanks to the Lord together with you. To facilitate the program we have invited Br. Isaac Terceros and Br. Vili Popovic of the General Conference Music Department. They will be our teachers of music theory and practice. During the course of the Music School, amongst other things, we will be preparing for a musical missionary program, by which we would like to share the gospel message of joy with our fellowmen. In addition to learning and making music together, we will also take time for excursions, and to get to know one another.

The full cost of accommodation and meals for the duration of July 17 – 24, 2017, is 140 Euros (or, 20 Euros per person, per night).
