Who should attend?
This course is ideal for people wishing to sharpen their skills for God’s work.
Lay preachers, Sabbath school teachers, local church leaders, youth leaders, Bible workers and every church member will all find it helpful to them in their positions of responsibility.
It is recommended to anyone, especially young people, who would like to be better equipped to give an answer for their faith and gain confidence in public speaking and witnessing.
Local churches are urged to identify potential students and encourage them to attend the program.
Application
Application is essential. The deadline for all applications is 1 November, 2015. The reason for this deadline is so that you have ample time to complete the necessary homework by the middle of January 2016. Please register your expression of interest by requesting an information pack.
Dates
Start: Sunday, 7 February, 2016, 3 p.m.
Finish: Sunday, 12 June, 2016.
Prerequisites
• Member of the SDA Reform Movement
• Good command of English language
• Read the book Gospel Workers
• Finish Gospel Workers homework by the assigned deadline
• Tools needed: a laptop computer with Bible and Spirit of Prophecy and word processing software
• Must commit to starting on time and finishing the entire program
• Application must be returned no later than 1 November, 2015

Cost, Location & More
Costs
AU$3,200 for the entire time, including lodging, meals, textbooks and consumables.
If you are coming from outside Australia, you will be responsible for your own airfares, visas and travel insurance (required).
Location
The training program will be held at Elim Heights Youth Camp (first four weeks), the SDA Reform Movement Australasian Union headquarters in Schofields, NSW and other field locations (for the practical experience portions).
Accommodation
Accommodation will be arranged as part of the program and will be covered in the cost of attending.
